Air traffic service providers is possible to transmit ATIS (Automatic Terminal Information Service) information via both VHF voice and data link channels, using sysdatacom Dijital ATIS (D-ATIS) Ver.8.0 system at the same time.

The system can be upgradeable to fully integrated airport system

Two kind of D-ATIS System, can be configured combined or separately for Arrival and Departure service in same application. (arrival, departure or arrival and departure)

■ Full Dual Redundant equipments and Network (LAN) architecture.

Automatic, manual or interactive mode

The system offered will update the broadcast information immediately a significant change occurs as a result an automatic (real-time processing) or manual input to the system. The broadcast will be continuous and repetitive.

while manual mode processing if meteorological data is updated the system switched from manual to automatic mode processing without interruption.

Data input correction and check in manual mode

The System architecture will be open and modular both in software and hardware components. The system will be easily adapted and expanded to meet additional needs, such a special approach and operation conditions related with the airports, new external interfaces or implementation of extra services.

The system is flexible and easily configurable

Client/server architecture

Database

D-ATIS System use powerful Database for storage and actions.

Records, all received /incoming and out going meteorological details and D-Atis Message on to the Database System with error status, data and utc time meaning History.

Voice recording of ATIS messages in wav, mp3 or any format.  Play and listen the recorded voice messages.

Records and reports how many aircrafts are contacted to D-ATIS System via datalink or satellite

Records and Reports, all Downlink/Uplink events with aircrafts

Logs all the alarms and status of the systems.

Any faults can be occurred on the system, will be recorded on to the Database automatically.

Database system is recorded the date and time of login and logout events of all users.

Search, Review and/or print previously stored data by date and time.

The system are interfaced with the local meteorological server, AWOS/AFTN, enabling transmission of essential data for every runway, if the data is not available, the system works with approaches and operations information, in this situation the met data not updated. Met Information can also be typed in on the user interface manually

Interconnecting

The system is interfaced with DSP (Sita, Arinc) and VDL to provide data link communication with aircraft (D-ATIS).

Interfaced with IP input of transmitter. (ED-137 Interoperability Standards for VoIP ATM Components)

Interfaced with GPS Clock (NTP), DCL, ATC System, Bird or A-SMGCS (Ground) Radar

Datalink

■  Requests a digital ATIS information via data link channels, the system transmits digital ATIS information to the aircraft.

User HMI

The System will be user friendly and will be operated via a windows style point-and-click menu-driven user interface

User-friendly graphical interface (GUI) for the supervision, administration and operation of the system

Display current operational and updated meteorological information and alarms.

Display the type of the  broadcasting into the status bar (Automatic or manual)

Display  the type of D-ATIS configured service; ARRIVAL, DEPARTURE or Combined (ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE)

Display Current Voice ATIS and Dijital ATIS message

Review and/or print previously validated ATIS information or error logs.

Monitoring the APPROACH, Runway in use, Runway Surface Condition, Braking Action, Friction Coefficient and other essential operational information for broadcasting.

Word Correction Check

Management of the 3 runways (Right-Left-Center) or more

Play back, verify and edit data prior to broadcasting

Manual interruption
